Many people feel that admitting you are seeing a therapist makes you a weak person! It takes a very strong person to admit that there is something wrong, it takes an even stronger person to do something about it.
At your lowest point you may feel that you have no power or control left. Deciding to talk to someone independent is the start to reclaiming the power and control back into your life.
Talking to someone who is not connected to any of your worries or issues could help you explore, and explain, these thoughts and feelings in a way that you can understand.
Speaking to a therapist who can recognise problems will help you see emerging patterns as you explore certain thoughts and feeling. A therapist can help you work through negative thoughts and feelings which will help you understand where they come from, why you have them and help you to overcome them.
Talking Therapies can help improve your self-image and confidence by helping you make positive changes through thinking and acting differently.
Supporting you all year round
